owned by multiple individuals who appear to be residing abroad
(listed address is in Canada). The application was
purportedly filed by a California attorney (whose name is not
listed with the California bar). Three weeks after filing
another attorney with the same "firm" substituted in, using a
substitution of attorney form and stating "<span
style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:"Times New Roman";font-size:medium;background-color:rgb(255,255,238)">These
are my Clients who hired me to be their attorney for all the
applications they have filled , The Attorney before has no
right to deal with these clients because I'm now their
representative"</span><br clear="all">

<div>The website using the same domain as both attorneys'
email addresses looks very scammy -- no attorneys listed,
poor grammar and misspellings.</div>

<div>The new "attorney" is supposedly a member of the New York
bar. There is a New York attorney with that name, but the
attorney is an associate at a blue chip Wall Street firm. </div>

<div>Is there anything that a concerned trademark attorney
can do about a situation like this? </div>
