I haven't encountered it, but I think I'd be happy to do it. I use
ChatGPT as the first draft for sections of an agreement I might want
to add, and I've used it for short agreements. I then, for the most
part, heavily edit them because I have the subject matter expertise,
but it's a good way to get over writer's block or spend time on a
search engine looking for, for example, the specific indemnification
terms you'd like to include (which you're then going to heavily edit
too). You might learn from it and your client might find out that
the cost for you to edit is the same as if you had provided it to
start. The good news is that they're not trusting ChatGPT and are
still coming to you for the reality check, so I wouldn't discourage
that.<br>

I also think agreements may be where ChatGPT might excel; the work
is language-based, there is probably a very high volume used for
training, and the language in them is very formulaic, which I think
would make an agreement right in ChatGPT's wheelhouse. I wouldn't
rely on it for substantive law questions though, it has given me <i>very</i>
wrong answers there.<br>

clients that I won't do it, although if a client told me they
