<p>Looks like the defect I guessed about on January 29 was worse
than I thought it was.</p>
<p>Looks like the designers of Assignment Center failed to consider
that the user might need to enter an application number.</p>
<p>This is the sort of software defect that would have been
identified instantly had the USPTO done even the most rudimentary
beta testing.<br>

<p>Here is a snip from slide 46 of USPTO's training slides for
son-of-ETAS. It says you must "enter[] at least one
registration number into the box highlighted in red". That's
false. You could, for example, enter merely an application
number.<br>
