This is a new one for me. A client has reported that scammers are setting up fake interviews for interns, using emailed flyers with my client's company logo, business address, and a description of the company and purported "internship". They've had about
a dozen calls from people thinking they have job interviews. The flyer notes that they will be paid via the "account they register with payroll" - so I believe that's the ultimate objective, to access the applicant's bank account. Has anyone dealt with this
type of thing, and if so, let me know if you have time to discuss. What a scummy thing to do to people trying to find work.</div>
