I don't think that's unusual. As I recall, it takes a while after <i>approved for publication</i> to scheduled when the trademark will be published for opposition. Additionally,
<i>approved for publication</i> is just the decision by the examining attorney, but many other reviews may occur before the actual publication.</div>

Once again, Trademark Search probably fails us. If we could see the new status description in the SA - Status field, we could search that particular status (with other parameters such as UD - Update Date) and see how many do and do NOT have Published for Opposition
entries. That said, I <i>guessed </i>that the SA-Status field would include the terms

<i>publication</i></span>, performing the following two searches.</div>

Well, I don't know how effectively that first search identifies trademarks that recently were
<i>approved for publication</i>, but the count of trademarks for the second search strongly suggests publication dates are NOT automatically assigned as soon as the trademark is approved for publication.</div>
