<p class="MsoNormal">Once the new trademark application rules go into effect on January 18, does anyone know if you will be able to choose a combination of free-form text and using the ID manual to provide identifications for multiple classes within a trademark
application? For example, we have an applicant who has identifications in one class that can be pulled from the ID manual, but another identification that is complex and so the free-form text box must be utilized for another class. In this scenario, would
we only be charged the extra $200 for the one class that used the ID manual? I attempted to switch between each on a mock application, and it was tricky to say the least, but potentially possible? We can\u2019t tell if switching auto-switched the ID manual text
to a free-form text (it looks like it may have). <u></u><u></u></p>
