If we file an application with a priority claim, and ultimately want to rely on the foreign registration as the basis of the US registration, and if we convert the goods/services in advance -- to avoid the surcharge and the inevitable office action -- could we lose the ability to claim priority and get a registration if the examiner disagrees with our conversion?
