It’s annoying, but the first line of troubleshooting Patent Center issues seems to be just do it again and maybe it will work…

I deleted the assignee and reentered it, and then it worked. I only see this error if assignee name is auto-populated.

I am trying to pay an issue fee and it keep setting the assignee to “organization” (which is not correct).
I cannot figure out how you fixed that. What’s the solution. Each time I set it to “Corporation,” and it looks right on the screen, but then when I preview the file it is set to “Organization.”
Also, PatentCenter did not pull the assignment information into the form, I had to enter it manually.

I paid some issue fees today. It was exciting, and much more time consuming than it should have been.
I got to see the "change entity size" bug in action, where I had to restart the Web-Issue Fee after changing the entity size in the PatentCenter-Status Page, because it didn't work otherwise. (CP138).
It appears you cannot use Web-Issue Fee if you previously paid the issue fee. If you click on the option to apply that fee, you cannot continue to the next page. I tried this on multiple browsers. I ended up filing a paper issue fee payment. It does helpfully say:

But you can't click continue.
If the system fills in the Assignee from the ADS (which usually doesn't work for me, the Assignee type is indicated as "Organization" with a warning to change to the type. If you do, the system does not save that change. So when you open the Web-85 form, it'll show "Organization." It will not error as a result though, so you can submit it with the incorrect entity identification. I don't know what happens if you do, because I correct this by going back, deleting the auto-filled entity & re-entering their data.

Two bonus bugs:
It took a few tries to log in. I got this brand new error message.

And when I tried to get into my Workbench, I got this exciting new message.

Today was a super fun day. I can't wait for tomorrow.
