Now I am getting confused. When I logged into MyUSPTO just now, the screen invited me to install the OKTA Verify app as a multifactor identification tool.
I had never previously heard of OKTA Verify so I investigated via the Web. I found the following report of a recent breach of the OKTA system https://lp.cyberark.com/20231116-web-assessing-attack-on-okta-support-unit-on-demand-registration.html Do you think our friends at the USPTO are aware of this issue?
Is this intended to be an "improvement" to the secure login function of MyUSPTO?
