Is it customary for the Patent Center-generated Web 85b Issue Fee Transmittal Form and the resulting Electronic Acknowledgement Receipt and Electronic Payment Receipt that can be downloaded during the IF payment process to appear significantly
different from the same forms when downloaded from Patent Center Documents & Transactions?

We paid an issue fee today using the Web 85b form in PC and it worked quite well until I compared the initially-downloaded forms to the forms later downloaded from Documents & Transactions. When viewed in Acrobat Pro DC, they appear to
have the same content, but they are clearly not the same forms. The initially-downloaded forms look fine. The two later-downloaded receipts include fonts that are obviously different and some of the text in the later-downloaded Web 85b is grey instead of black.
I further downloaded the same forms from Private PAIR and they are the same as the later-downloaded, PC forms.

This seems disturbing. It is difficult to trust that PC is actually saving the forms available for download during the filing process when they do not match Documents & Transactions or Private PAIR. Even though the content is the same for
now, does this reveal a flaw in the software that the initially-presented forms are not actually being saved? Could a subsequent bug in whatever data transfer they are doing later produce a substantive difference between the two?

I don’t know whether I should expect the initial v. PC v. PAIR downloads to have the same hash, but they are all different.
