<p class="MsoNormal">This is a new one for me \u2013 today I logged
into Patent Center, loaded my workbench (applications), and
clicked on an application. I received the error code below:

<p class="MsoNormal">I logged out and back in, then was
miraculously able to access the same application. The
correspondence address customer number had
<b><u>not</u></b> changed, and I do still have access. Can
anyone tell me why a message like this would pop up instead of
a \u201csystem busy\u201d or \u201cmax search limit reached\u201d message?
There\u2019s no reason I can think of to tell the practitioner they
don\u2019t have access to something when it\u2019s just a system snafu
on their end. At this point it feels like they\u2019re trying to
make us miserable. Maybe they want all the practitioners to
retire to make room for more pro se applicants?
