Center blocked you? Was it at the point of plugging in the
application number and confirmation number? Or was it at the
point of clicking "submit"?<br>

PatentCenter apparently now checks that a customer number is
associated with an application and rejects any filing if there
is none. <o:p></o:p></p>

in this application because your customer number isn't
associated in this application and there isn't a POA.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Me: Thanks. I should be able to act in a
representative capacity under 37 C.F.R. 1.34 without a power
of attorney.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">EBC: Without the customer number being
associated to the application you won't be able to access it
in Patent Center. This isn't a glitch<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Me: How can I file a power of attorney
if I need a power of attorney to file the power of attorney?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">EBC: In order to associate the customer
number to the application you need to
<b>fax</b> (571-273-8300)form AIA/122. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I couldn\u2019t have made this up\u2026 but I guess
that is what happens if EBC is no longer allowed to answer
\u201cuse EFS-Web\u201d the answer becomes \u201cfax us.\u201d
