was that there would not be a letter designation, but rather a separate numerical series (not sure what that will be). The important thing is that the reason that was given for not using a letter designation is that PatentCenter can\u2019t handle letters in the

<p class="MsoNormal">Does anyone know if that is really true? Because if it is, it is a huge problem. As many, if not all, of you undoubtedly know, resident aliens (except Canadians) who are otherwise qualified to practice cannot be registered, but can get
\u201climited recognition.\u201d Practitioners with limited recognition have \u201climited recognition numbers\u201d (it is a rule violation to call it a registration number or to represent one\u2019s status as \u201cregistered\u201d) starting with \u201cL\u201d.<u></u><u></u></p>
