<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Century Schoolbook",serif;color:black">When I uploaded a file to Patent Center in DOCX format, I got an error message rejecting the document, saying it contained a font that isn’t in the USPTO’s list of acceptable
fonts. Gee, I’ve always found Century Schoolbook more legible than Times New Roman, but now it’s disfavored.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Century Schoolbook",serif;color:black">My curiosity was piqued when I saw a notice from the USPTO that they’ve added Aptos to their list of acceptable fonts for DOCX. I never liked the look of Calibri on my screen,
but now I find that just this June, Microsoft ditched Calibri as the default font for its application,s in favor of one that it’s renamed “Aptos.” And to me it seems to look a bit better than Calibri. So it looks like I’ll be installing Aptos on my computers
now.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
