<p class="MsoNormal">Yes, only the attorney can file a withdrawal. Sponsored staff cannot do so. I’m just surprised that no one else on the listserv has mentioned this issue. Are we the only practice that has unsuccessfully attempted to file an ePetition

<p class="MsoNormal">We have been attempting to file an ePetition Request for Withdrawal as Attorney or Agent of Record pursuant to 37 CFR 1.36 since last Thursday. (We have a recognized POA on file.)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We have tried in Chrome, Firefox and Edge. After completing the form, the attorney can insert the signature in the signature box, but there are no boxes below “First name”, “Last name” and “Registration number” to fill in, which is likely
why nothing happens when the “Continue” box is pressed.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ligatures:none">We have discussed the situation twice with EBC, which escalated the request last Thursday, but still has no answer as to why this is happening. Today’s agent was aware of one other person who had reported
the same problem. I presume that we can upload, mail or fax a petition to withdraw and wait a few months for it to be granted, but we’d like to be relieved ASAP.
