I tried running a very basic search for patents and published applications filed by a particular applicant this evening, using the USPTO’s Patent Public Search database this evening. I got an error message I hadn’t seen before, "<span style="orphans: 2; widows: 2; background-color: rgb(244, 227, 219);" class=""><font color="#1b1b1b" face="Public Sans Web, -apple-system, system-ui, Segoe UI, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, Apple Color Emoji, Segoe UI Emoji, Segoe UI Symbol" size="3" class="">No live SolrServers available to handle this request <span style="caret-color: rgb(27, 27, 27);" class="">…</span></font></span>." I also tried changing the search terms to another applicant I know has lots of patents, and also trying to do a quick lookup of a known US patent by number. But, I got the same result. I never had that problem before with Public or Private PAIR. Has anyone else run into that same issue?
