<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Goudy Old Style",serif">I paid an issue fee today for a design application using the web85b online form in PatentCenter. Everything of significance worked fine, but I did notice one quirk. The
examiner for this application was “Megan Tiana Rakos” and that’s what showed on the web page as I was filling in the web85b.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Goudy Old Style",serif">But once it was created, the PDF that was submitted to the PTO threw away her middle name, and just identified her as “Megan Rakos.” While I can’t see a possible harm in
that, it does bother me that the PDF created by PatentCenter doesn’t match what was on the screen. So I contacted the EBC and their only response was that I should contact the OPAP (Office of Patent Application Processing).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Goudy Old Style",serif">Has anyone else noticed changes in the examiner’s name like this? I don’t think it’s worth spending any more time on, but I’m curious if this was a one-off or not.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
