was on the ADS. So I jumped back to the continuity information. It then had the proper information. A bit scary that it can randomly change between No continuity information and a proper link to a provisional by simply moving between screens.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">While being logged into PatentCrapper today, I tried to figure out if a third-party patent had child applications. I located the patent in Patent Center, but the “Continuity” menu button was greyed out. I clicked on it anyway and got a
pop-up that said "continuity data is not available for this application."<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">So, not being sure whether that meant that I couldn’t get the continuity data for some reason, or that there were no continuity apps, I looked up several patents that I had written that I knew had no continuity apps. Same problem: the continuity
button is greyed out and when you click on it get the same pop up.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I couldn’t find this problem in Carl’s trouble tickets or feature requests.

<p class="MsoNormal">Is it safe to assume that when the pop-up says continuity data is not available that it really means there is none? Wouldn’t be better to have the continuity link live and go to the continuity page that says there are no continuity apps?<o:p></o:p></p>
