<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto">What\u2019s been interesting to me this past week is that I\u2019ll do five filings in a row, and invariably at some point will get the \u201cForbidden\u201d error in the midst of a given filing. <div><br></div><div>I\u2019m on a Mac, and have Patent Center set up as a Safari web app. What has worked for me is that even when I\u2019m logged in and just completed a filing, I open a new browser window (which due being in a web app, automatically navigates back to Patent Center), close the old one, and do the next filing in the new window. </div><div><br></div><div>We live in the land of Amazon (Seattle), and a good chunk of my neighbors are software developers. When I share with them the various trials and tribulations of Patent Center (and the address book in Assignment Center or whatever it\u2019s called), they\u2019re incredulous. </div><div><br></div><div>And when I share with them the fiasco where EFS-Web went down for a couple of weeks a number of years ago because the backup server was physically colocated with the primary server\u2026 \u201cwait, what?
