<p class="MsoNormal">When receiving a cold call by some vendor who is in the process of giving their 10+ minute spew (without pausing for a breath) of the IP services they provide, e.g., docketing, processing, drawings… yada yada yada…<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">Do you think it is rude to interrupt and simply tell them you are not interested… and when they jump right back into their 10+ minute spew again… to interrupt again and tell them you are not interested?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">And, do you care if you are rude when you do it?<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">When we bill by the hour and time is so precious to us… and one little interruption that lasts a minute or so actually results in a disruption of at least 15 minutes for one’s brain to get back to doing what it was doing…<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I interrupt the spew and tell them I’m not interested and when they insist, I more assertively tell them I am not interested… and I’ve had a few where they still insist, so I’ve hung up on them.<o:p></o:p></p>
