You should be able to fix the country by filing a certificate of correction for an applicant's mistake. I think you will have to pay a fee, however. </div>

I can't imagine being able to invalidate the patent based on the country code being incorrect. Maybe it's possible if someone can allege it somehow involves inequitable conduct, but that seems like a real stretch.</div>
