<html><head></head><body><div class="yahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;"><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Dear All,</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">This email relates to the USPTO PDF ADS form --> <span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">AIA00014.pdf</span></span></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I want to import data into the ADS to let me populate the ADS. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I also want to export data from pre-filled-out ADSs.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I just bought an Adobe subscription --- $$$$ -- since the Adobe free reader does not support this.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I have zero experience in this.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">The (not intuitive) Adobe interface tells me to go to "prepare forms" and then "create forms"</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I did this and I am told that "You cannot edit this form due to security settings"</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">From Adobe, the security of the ADS [AIA00014.pdf] says that "changing the form" is NOT allowed even though it also lists the security method as "no security"</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I remember from a number of years ago that folks COULD do this.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Did the USPTO shut this down??? </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I do NOT want to use online ADS forms.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Many thanks!</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Bill</div></div></body></html>
