<p>The real answer is, use ePCT to generate the Request. It will
check your inputs and it will independently calculate whether the
Receiving Office you are trying to use is or is not competent,
given the inputs that you have entered.</p>
<p>It's not too late to sign up for one of the remaining open seats

situation. We have a European applicant that has an office
in the US. For a few reasons, we would like to file the
PCT application with RO/US rather than RO/IB. Is
establishing competency of the US as Receiving Office as
simple as indicating "US" in the "State of Residence"
field of the Applicant Box (Box II) of the Request? I
don't see a spot to enter their US office address as a way
of providing evidence of the US residence.</font></div>
