No you don't.

Field tag CM2 (among others) catches plurals:

CM:digital AND CM2:solver

Search Field: CM2

(Enhanced combined mark - Combines word, pseudo mark, and translation
fields with stemming and plurals)

The search field options are pretty powerful, and can themselves be
searched.

(Just enter "plurals" into the search bar for search fields and a variety
of options appear.)
