[E-trademarks] Brand Action in Atlanta

Hi Everyone,

 

As I just joined the list serv a few weeks ago, as a brief introduction my
name is Steve Cooper and I am with the IP boutique Ware Fressola Maguire &
Barber in Connecticut.  As anyone on here who knows me is likely aware, on
top of my day job I am part of the leadership team with the Brand Action
charity initiative within the global trademark community. I am excited to
share that  <https://www.brandaction.org/> Brand Action is hosting a
fundraising event next month in support of two amazing charities: World
Central Kitchen and BeForUkraine. Both organizations help people in times of
crisis. 

As I have seen the recent emails Atlanta next month, I thought I would take
the opportunity to invite everyone coming to Atlanta to Brand Action's
fundraiser and networking reception. The

Atlanta on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at STATS Brew Pub.  

 

Since its inception two years ago, Brand Action has contributed over
$150,000 to our partner charities to provide food for those affected by the
war in Ukraine, the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, and the hurricane in
Acapulco, Mexico as well as to deliver much-needed medical supplies to
Ukraine. 

 

This year's sponsorship funds will go to BeForUkraine with the goal of
donating at least one fully equipped ambulance to Ukraine. Ticket sales for
the event go directly to World Central Kitchen to support their relief
efforts in Haiti.

 

As we strive to make a meaningful impact in the world, I invite you to join
