[E-trademarks] What do you think happens if Dolly opposes?

I chalk this one up to poor examination processes that it even went through. Note the filing date of the application: February 13, 2024, and how quickly it was reached for examination and approved for publication. Most of the rest of the TM filing world has been waiting on initial examinations which now are taking place for applications filed in mid-January.

I recently had to oppose an application (in this case, one of the thousands of applications filed by Chinese entities with suspicious specimen farm specimens) that was filed, examined, approved for publication and published all within about a 3-month period. We only caught it because my client has one of its trademarks on a watch service. At the time, I noted there were about ½ dozen applications filed through the same U.S. attorney and assigned to the same examiner that had similar examination patterns.
