[E-trademarks] WTF TTAB - MENSTRUATION CRUSTACEAN is descriptive?

The TTAB (some members of it, at least) seems to have lost sight of the distinction between dictionary “descriptive” and the legal test for a mark being “merely descriptive.”

because the thing is shaped like a lobster and thus the word mark describes a feature of the product?!?!

Sounds fishy to me.

I wonder if the applicant will appeal to the Fed Circuit. I hope so.
