[E-trademarks] US abandonment, Madrid question

Good evening. Does anyone have experience with the following scenario, and, if so, did you just file a form MM22, or something else to keep the Madrid designations live?


Applicant files multi-class application US application, then files Madrid, referencing the US application. Then divides the US application. Then possibly inadvertently abandons one of the (now 2) US applications (the one having the original serial number, prior to request to divide). Abandoned US application is now outside the revival period. Madrid designations (variouys countries) are currently still live.
