[E-trademarks] Registration Processing Change?

The search RD:20240220 AND RN:* retrieves just 1 new registration issued today, but the search RD:20240220 of just the registration date retrieves 4,977 hits.  In the past, future registration dates were only loaded for the supplemental register, but the search RD:20240220 AND RG:principal retrieves 4,649 hits.  Doesn't that seem like a reasonable count of the registrations issued for the principle register today?  Well, we'll know better tomorrow when all the registrations numbers issued today are available on trademark search.  (For the records I checked, the registration certificates with the registration numbers were available on TSDR, though obviously I only checked a small sample of the 4,977 hits returned by the RD:20240220 search.)

Peeking ahead to next week, the search RD:20240227 returns 4,714 hits, again more hits than I would have expected for the supplemental register.  The search RD:20240227 AND RG:principal returns 4,408 hits.

Peeking 2 weeks ahead, the search RD:20240305 returns 6,352 hits, where 6,082 are on the principal register, but that appears to be the last of the sneak preview of future registrations, as the search RD:20240312 only returns 323 hits, all on the supplemental register.

The search RD:[20240220 TO *] AND AT:(oppedahl chestek *connell welch pearson reynolds cumbow timberlake) retrieves 17 hits for that relatively small sample of attorney of record names.
