Trademark examiners must still use a search and print system different than the new system used by practitioners and the public at https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/search/search-information
Examiners are able to print user-friendly records of applications and registrations for their Office Actions, somewhat like we used to be able to do with TESS (print a single page summary of a record). Those old TESS sheets were handy for filing responses to Office Actions or records with TTAB, or general use in the file. We now use bulky un-friendly TSDR records. Perhaps I missed a post on how to display or make prints like the examiners? Even then, the records printed by examiners lack dates of use (they are not concerned about those dates in their examinations, but the dates are needed by practitioners to assess priority).
I was under the impression we were all using the same system. I wonder what other features are lacking in the public system. Hopefully the Office can bring back this feature in their next update.
