Hello David.

Back in March of 2024, a member of the e-Trademarks listserv posted a search strategy looking for US trademark applications dating from before 2021, that had not yet gotten examined.  Here is the search strategy:

 FD:[* TO 20201231] AND (SA:" application assignment" ~5) AND OW:usa NOT (SA:" application assignment" ~3)

The listserv member found that there were 182 such US trademark applications.

I would have hoped that one or another of the dozen Trademark Office people who are subscribers to the listserv might have taken action on this, after seeing that listserv posting in March of 2024.

Recently we have had reports from two listserv members that they have clients whose US trademark applications are suspended over such old US trademark applications.

I repeated this search today, and I was disappointed to see that the number of untouched old US trademark applications is unchanged at 182.    Not one of those applications has, apparently been attended to by the Trademark Office.

This does not serve the filing community very well.

I wonder if you might be willing to take some steps to get those 182 old applications examined.
