Agreed.  A domain name is a unique asset and is worth what a buyer and seller agree it is worth.  I am often surprised both by how much and how little some domain names sell.

I agree with Marc. The domain owner may value the domain differently, and you are often stuck with that.

For buying or selling?  There are a number of services but frankly I don’t think any of them are that great.  You might consider doing some research yourself on published sales of domain names to find comps.  But at the end of the day the domain name is worth what someone will pay for it….
