[E-trademarks] 2(d) for prior registration in Trademark Center

I'm making a 2(d) claim in a new application based on an active prior registration (and 5+ years of use).  When I enter the prior registration, I initially copied/pasted it from TSDR and received an error that I must fix: "You must enter a valid active registration number.  A valid registration number consists of 5, 6, or 7 numbers."  It has 7 numbers.  I tried again by typing the reg. no. in, and received the same error message.

Interestingly, I'd also specified that I wanted to enter a prior active registration (separate from the entry for the 2(d) claim).  I'd copied/pasted the reg. no. from TSDR in that section, and did not get the same error message.

Am I missing something?  Has anyone else had this issue?  Sigh.
