[E-trademarks] Post Reg on hold electronic record review required

I think that’s what happened with mine as well.  The SOU was accepted, and the status read “review prior to registration completed,” and then it was updated to “Electronic Record Review Required” or something similar, and just sat there for another 5 months before it registered.

What’s odd is that this one issued AFTER they accepted the renewal.  Just got off the phone with the TAC, and she believed it was purely an internal QC check, but that since the renewal had been accepted, it should not impact that status.  I guess only time will tell.

I got a similar “electronic records review” hold on several statements of use that I filed last year. I never got an explanation from the examiner, the TMAC or anyone else, but after several months (and multiple phone calls to the TM assistance

Wondering if anyone has encountered this bewildering status and what it means.  I am on hold with the TAC, which they say may take over 30 minutes.

We filed an 8&9 in conjunction with an amendment to the mark back in December 2023.  In September, we received a post-reg OA on the amendment, which we immediately responded to.  On January 9, we received the email notice of acceptance of the renewal and section 8 filing, and TSDR shows the mark as renewed and that the mark has been updated to the amended version.  But good ole IP Badger alerted me that on January 9, there was also a status entry after the Notice of Acceptance that states
ON HOLD - ELECTRONIC RECORD REVIEW REQUIRED

Any idea what this means?  Is this just some internal reference that does not impact the renewal?
