[E-trademarks] PTO abandoning remote work?

Hi –

The agency heads can make “exemptions as they deem necessary.”

I can’t see Coke Stewart making everyone come back into the office. Plus- they don’t have the space.

The bigger question is what are they going to do about hiring freezes?  Much of the new patent fee structures were to support hiring more examiners.

Saw a post from Professor Dickson yesterday about Trump’s executive order ending remote work for federal employees.  Seems to be some wiggle room in it, but wow, aren’t there a ton of examiners working remotely?  I can’t imagine all of them moving to DC.
