[E-trademarks] Section 7 filing - TEAS error or user error?

Afternoon, all.

                Hit a snag with the Section 7 filing form that I haven't been able to puzzle out. While I'm on my 120+ minute estimated wait with TAC I figure I'd ask the brain trust.

                I'm preparing a Section 7 post-registration amendment to restrict a description of services only. I get through the TEAS form with no errors until the actual "edit your description" screen. After adding the restrictions to the description field, I try to advance the filing and receive the error message "A Filing Basis must be entered for the 1st original class."

The confusion for me is that this screen contains no way to change the filing basis. We don't want to change the filing basis. The filing basis was already established. But the system will not let me advance without addressing the problem.I've tried retreating back to Step 1 and indicating that a change in filing basis is requested to see if that works, but no dice. That option changes this screen to allow us to ADD a §44 filing basis, which is not something we can do.

If anyone has encountered this error before and has a solution, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm just listening to the LOVELY hold music for the next two hours while trying to concentrate on doing other work. I'd be very happy if this was user error, but it feels more like a bug.
