Hi Maria,
We had the same thing happen at our office. We submitted a Section 7 Request (uploaded the receipt of the Statement of Use submission as evidence) and about 6 months later, we received a corrected registration certificate.
In reviewing the steps we took, I note that we we received an error when we selected option 3 to amend the identification of goods that prevented the Section 7 Request submission from proceeding. In order to proceed, we unchecked option 3 and only selected option 2 from the first screen. We described this work-around in the Miscellaneous Statement to alert the USPTO.

Maria,

Unfortunately, this sounds like you will need to request a corrected
registration due to USPTO error, but since the error is likely to be
considered material, the regular Section 7 correction may not be available.
Take a look at TMEP 1609.10(a).
