[E-trademarks] Tm response times getting much faster?

I suspect the reduced timeline results from several factors.

  1.
The fear of the T
  2.
Lack of interest in foreign companies investing in the United States
  3.
Lack of of interest by domestic companies investing in new brands until such time as the economy stabilizes
  4.
The buildup of new Examining Attorneys in the few years following the pandemic are now able to handle real caseloads.

All of this is pure speculation, of course.

Perhaps it was for a special type client, i.e. native American tribe, etc.? They sometimes get routed differently.

Wow that is odd. Just had EA call to do a simple amendment for an application that was filed less than a month ago. No sister applications and was filed as a standard app. EA said it will be approved for publication after amendments are entered. Spoke to the EA regarding the unusual timeline but was unable to pin down why it's proceeding at warp speed. Fastest turnaround I've seen!
