Thanks, yes putting a bump in the road against the opposer would be very helpful in this case.

Hi Ken,

What a corporation can and cannot do when it is not in good standing is a matter of state law. My expectation is that it can only defend itself, not bring offensive actions, but you need to check the state's laws.

Also, restoring good standing is generally fairly simple, so it will only be a bump in the road, not a roadblock. But it might buy you time if that would be helpful to your case.
