Ronni,

The trademarks assistance unit recently told me to contact the examiner in an identical situation.  They seemed to think the Examiner needed to do something on their end for me to pay the deficiency fee.

Hi.  I called the TAC but my wait time is 77 minutes!  So I am trying you folks.



I am filing a response to an office action where a deficiency fee of $100 was charged for missing information.  I cannot find a place in the TEAS form to select that I need to pay that fee.  No. 7 says: Do you need to submit a fee for: (1) an existing or additional class of goods/services/a collective membership organization due to a deficiency in the initial application and/or (2) processing a payment that has been refused or charged back?



But it only lets me pay $50.



Any idea where to find it?  Do I have to use a deposit account in the miscellaneous box?
