[E-trademarks] Use in international commerce

Could it depend on whether the client is selling the products to Amazon for
their sale to consumers vs. the client is selling direct to consumers
through Amazon and Amazon is merely acting as a logistics provider?
Why not wait until an actual consumer sale and avoid the issue?
