[E-trademarks] Question about cartoons

Hi Russell,

I am not sure that I understand your question. Are you talking about a cartoon character that is being used as a logo to identify a cartoon strip? If you are, I would say that the client has to have published at least two episodes/installments of the cartoon strip.

Does anyone know if there are any special rules when it comes to registering a character used to advertise a cartoon?  I know with book titles/series you need to have more than one on the market, but is there any similar requirement for cartoons?
