[E-trademarks] Responding to Office Action if Attorney Info Not Yet Updated

The TEAS response form has an option to specify that the attorney submitting the response is a new attorney. That is one of the opening queries to the form. If there was another U.S. attorney of record that you are replacing, then I think you could just set up the response for the client to sign the declaration in the response which would satisfy getting the client's signature on the appointment of new attorney (from an existing U.S. attorney).

Friends - We need to file an office action in response in an application we're taking over.  We've submitted the change of representation info but it hasn't updated in the USPTO system yet.  Can we still file the office action response, or do we need to wait until our information shows up as being attorney of record?
