[E-trademarks] Trademark Search: Zero Records Updated Monday; Multiple Oct 19TH Filings Missing

Good morning,

I'm writing to report discrepancies in search results for new trademark applications.

Yesterday morning, the search UD:20251020 returned zero results. Additionally, the search FD:20251019 (intended to retrieve new applications filed Sunday) also showed zero results. Typically, Monday updates are small, but these search results seemed exceptionally small.  But I expected the USPTO was well aware of that apparent update failure and would correct for that failure with today's update.

Today, UD:20251020 still returns zero results.  FD:20251019 only returns 7 trademarks, namely consecutive serial numbers 99451106 to 99451112, unusually small even for a Sunday.

With a little further checking, the highest serial number for FD:20251018 appears to be 99450610.  The lowest serial number for FD:20251019 on Trademark Search currently is 99451106, leaving a gap of 495 unavailable serial numbers.  That is, the search SN:/<99450610-99451106>/ retrieves 99450610 (the lower limit), 99451106 (the upper limit), and only one additional trademark, namely 99450676, filed October 20th.

I then tried 25 consecutive serial numbers 99450611 to 99450635 via the TSDR multi-search feature, retrieving the following 24 trademarks.

Note that these 24 trademarks are all October 19th filings that are NOT available on Trademark Search, presumably filings that were included in the Monday, October 20th update that failed.

Should I continue the consecutive serial number searches for that gap via TSDR's multi-search feature?  I'm already convinced that Trademark Search is missing significant updates that should have been included in the failed October 20th update.

Perhaps some USPTO lurkers on this discussion group can relay my concerns to the appropriate USPTO personnel.

That is, I expect TEAS would have rejected this standard character mark application for including characters outside the USPTO's standard character set.  Well, maybe Pre-Exam will convert the two occurrences of U+2022 : BULLET {black small circle} to the standard character · (middle dot, centered dot; decimal 183) when they process this application in a few months.
