[E-trademarks] : Security interest/assignment question

I believe that changed when they did the new Assignment Center and you need to look there now for actual assignment information and documents.  I found that out the hard way when I looked for an assignment I knew I filed for a client and it said “none recorded” in TSDR.  Scott

I can't see the actual assignment document in Assignment Center, just the fact that the conveyance type is "Security Interest" and that despite this, the Owner information has been updated.

A just received a notification of "change of owner information" for a trademark I monitor. And indeed the TSDR record shows a new owner.

However, if you click to the assignment, it says what was recorded is a "security interest."  Recording a security interest shouldn't change the Current Owner information, should it?
