Now on my phone I can’t access the USPTO at all.  I had a non-provisional ready to submit but when I clicked on the button to pay, nothing happened except a screen refresh, over and over. EBC told me to log out and try again (I saved the submission first), and then the Patent Center would not come up at all, though the USPTO site would. Now it’s down too.

I wish there was some accountability for the terrible state of software for the nation’s patent systems and the many costs it is imposing on us. Not to mention the surprising cost of the non-bid contract behind these “improvements.” Do we need to ask Congress to hold hearings on what’s happening?

If you cannot connect, then try switching your DNS to Google if you can.

Of course, DC Federal Buildings are closed, but the PTO is silent.  Maybe they’ll tell us tomorrow that they were closed lol.
