[Patentcenter] Is Patent Center down? (Wednesday, January 17, 2024 -- 11:55 AM ET)? Can we not pay fees?

Yes, down. For me, the whole site is down. Am trying to contact my grandmother to see if I can use her old fax machine, but the seance isn’t going well. But for those who need to fax in USPTO forms while the site is down, you can access the forms via Archive.org at https://web.archive.org/web/20240108222330/https://www.uspto.gov/patents/apply/forms.

For some reason, Archive.org always seems to be up. How do they do that? Maybe it’s because they didn’t have the luxury of making a $2 billion no-bid award with taxpayer dollars to have their site and software improved: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/steampunk-awarded-2b-boss-prime-contract-at-uspto-301530329.html.
