[Patentcenter] Online Corrected ADS not working in the Patent Center

Sorry if I’m late to the party and you all knew this already, but the corrected ADS online function is not working property. One of our attorneys recently submitted the online corrected ADS but it didn’t get accepted and he called the PTO to discuss.  He was told, “the electronic ADS correction tool in Patent Center has been experiencing technical issues lately, and for the time being they are recommending uploading/submitting manually-marked ADS forms (in PDF) for updates/corrections, rather than relying on the Patent Center automatic electronic markup tool.”

I myself had tried to do a corrected ADS online for another attorney and it would not provide a place for a signature (as required). Instead I ended up previewing the form, printing to pdf and then having the attorney sign with a pdf edit tool. That worked and was accepted by the PTO and the record updated. I admit I like the ability to correct the ADS online rather manually marking up an ADS form – just wish it worked properly.
