[Patentpractice] Number of AFCP interviews granted each year

I think the secret to claiming that number is that the Examiners respond
with "this was handled under the after final procedure, as if no AFCP had
been filed" in some significant percentage of cases and those cases are not
classified as having an "AFCP request."
But while I rarely get examiner initiated calls for AFCP filings even
though my template includes a request for a call, most Examiners will
accept an applicant initiated call with an AFCP. Not that it helps much. I
usually still get a "needs further search" type response, unless my
amendment is just clean-up from essentially allowed claims.
