We have used Sagacious IP (Now SagaciousElevate), sagaciousresearch.com, to create such a sequence listing. They are quick, efficient and economical.

Subject: [External Sender][Patentpractice] Sequence listing tools

Dear colleagues,

I rarely deal with cases containing sequence listings. I am dealing with a case now where there are about 30-40 rather short sequences, some look the same. It is a US national phase of a PCT case. Neither the RO nor the ISA asked for the listing in the required machine-readable format, so it is not in Patentscope, neither is it in the foreign priority application.

There probably is a tool that can extract sequences from a WO pub and put them in the required format for submission to the PTO (in response to a request from the PTO). I saw some tools with subscriptions for organizations of this or that size and so on. I don’t need anything complex for a rather simple once in a while task. I can end up just copy-pasting several dozen sequences into the WIPO sequence tool, but it would be great to speed it up.

TIA!

Maria
